Applying to college may be a stressful experience due to the many forms students need to fill out, deadlines they are supposed to meet, and other necessary preparations. However, there is complexity within this, and the recently introduced Coalition App is more of a tool aimed at providing the application process with a more simplified approach for students. Even being one of the three major college application platforms along with the Common App and the Universal College App, the Coalition App provides students with distinctive opportunities and tools to help those with some specific disadvantages. This article will cover all aspects of the Coalition App, from its purpose to its benefits and how this app can help you with your college application. What is a Coalition App?
The Coalition App, or officially the Coalition for College Access Application, is an online application with admission tests used by 155 member institutions and many top-ranked colleges and universities in the United States of America. It is important to note that this platform was formed under the umbrella of the Coalition for College, which aimed to support the rights, opportunities, general affordability, and successful completion of college. Coalition for College consists of public and private colleges that aim to have as many students access college education as possible, especially those from marginalized and quality-deficient backgrounds. The Coalition App is not simply a tool for submitting an application to the Coalition for Residency Program. It offers a set of tools that are intended to be helpful for students in the course of their HS years and the process of college enrollment. These are Locker, Collaboration Space, and MyCoalition Counselor. Locker enables students to store pictures, documents, videos, and music within the Coalition Campus, Collaboration Space provides common areas for group work and brainstorming, and MyCoalition Counselor is a one-stop shop for students at different course levels. How to Use the Coalition App?
