Profile assessment

Each applicant is unique in their own way, and our experts assess your academic goals, work experience, education and career vision to identify where you stand and to cater to your needs and interests. Be it MBA, MIM or M.Fin, we begin the process with self-reflection through bespoke one-on-one discussions.

It is important to ask yourself where you want to go to business school, how much time you can devote to school each day, what kind of individuals you want in your classrooms, and how you’ll pay for your graduate business education. It is equally important to think about a business school’s rankings and accreditations, as well as how their reputation will affect your future wages. Finally, choose five to seven institutions where you want to apply based on your interests.

Profile Building

With thousands of applicants, what makes you stand out?

A solid profile is always important for students who want to study management, both before admissions and later during job placements. Top B-Schools are prioritising candidates’ “Profiles” in order to shortlist them for admissions, according to the newest trend. B-Schools evaluate a person’s potential by looking at his or her accomplishments outside of the classroom.

It is critical for applicants vying for admission to top B-Schools to present the best version of themselves to the Admission Committee. Internships, sports, research, community service, and other extracurricular activities can help you make a favourable impression on the admissions committee and provide them a good reason to accept you into their student body.

Our expert mentors work with you to highlight your qualifications, entrepreneurial ideas and business acumen to suit the target B-schools. We help you identify and weave your career journey by reflecting on your major professional achievements, the challenges encountered, the learnings and the associated growth. Your strengths and weaknesses are analysed by our team of experts, identifying any pitfalls or opportunities.

When it comes to developing a solid profile that will help you stand out from the crowd, proper strategy and execution are critical. Building your profile in the early phases of your education enhances your confidence, communication skills, personality, and credibility, all of which are quite useful during the admission process. We work with you to build an impressive profile, ensuring that you outshine other applicants. Our team of experts work with students, no matter where they come from, which includes India and UAE.

Crafting A Robust CV Rostrum Education

Crafting a Robust CV

The curriculum vitae forms a crucial part of the application process. A strong resume is essential for a strong application that will get you into the programme of your choice. Your resume, along with your personal statement, will weave a story that will pique the admissions committee’s interest. A resume for a B-school application is unlike any other resume you’ve written before, whether for a job application or for another educational programme. Knowing how to write a CV for undergraduate or graduate school isn’t enough. To represent the specific value that you can provide to your chosen programme, you must modify your MBA resume to make it concise, informative, and accurate. A weakly structured CV can greatly hamper your chances of getting into a top B-school despite extensive work experience or even high grades.

We will assist you in standing out from the crowd. We will aid you in elevating and prioritising your information, selecting more active language, and employing a logical and engaging structure while assessing and suggesting adjustments to your resume. We look at the content and layout of your resume as a whole. We start with your academic background to ensure that your career path is sensible and aligned with your objectives. We can also assist you with quantifying and ranking your achievements utilising a logical structure, resulting in a more polished and engaging CV. We also examine all factors of readability to ensure that your message reaches a reader who is merely perusing your resume with a passing interest. Through our expert guidance, your CV is sure to stand out and surpass your competitors as we help you structure and help you put your best foot forward.

Essays, SOPs and LORs

Most applicants to top universities have an exceptionally outstanding academic record, high GMAT/GRE scores and strong extracurriculars or work experience. Yet, only a few manage to secure admission, and you too can get that edge with a brilliant essay.

The essays or Statements of Purpose can make or break your application. An excellent essay should be able to effectively project your potential and the impact you wish to make. Our experts have been working with business majors for the past 20+ years, and are here to help you craft the perfect essay that brings your aspirations, motivations and competencies to the forefront.

We’ll work with you to develop personalised admissions strategies for tackling the many components of each application, including the essays, recommendation letters, and rĂ©sumĂ©. Essay editing includes both top-down and bottom-up language and content analysis. We ensure that you answer the questions while creating a unified story that effectively communicates your experiences, values, and skills. Application editing comprises going over your work history, extracurricular activities, community service, awards, and publications, among other things. We show you how admissions committees evaluate your applications and help you figure out which components of your career, academic, community, and personal background need to be on the forefront.

GMAT Prep

Because colleges use the GMAT exam to predict academic success, your GMAT results will play a role in getting into business school. Some colleges have minimum requirements, but most publish a range of acceptable results or an average score. Get to know the prerequisites of your desired colleges and take a practise exam to set a goal for yourself. To guarantee ample preparation, begin your GMAT exam preparation at least six months before test results are submitted to your top MBA programmes, and test no later than 20 days before this date. Consider taking the GMAT exam now if you were recently or are presently an undergraduate student, while your testing abilities are sharp and your maths and verbal skills are strong.

Begin studying for the GMAT exam once you’ve registered for it. Keep in mind that your scores are valid for five years. If you’re not satisfied with your initial result, you can retake the exam once every 16 calendar days and five times in a rolling 12-month period for a total of eight exams.

Interview Prep

Almost every applicant to a top business school is required to attend an MBA interview before being accepted. Admissions committees use this interview to analyse your professional goal, communication skills, personality, and sincerity, as well as to see if you are who you claim you are.

We ensure that students are well-prepared for both the substance of the interview and the use of appropriate body language. We look at your “elevator pitch” and your ability to answer a variety of questions regarding your professional goals, strengths and limitations, leadership skills, managerial potential, and so on. We also ask you strange questions to see if you can keep your cool and think on your feet.

We also prepare you for whether you will be interviewed by an admissions official, a student, or an alumnus, as well as the varied interview methods utilised by different business schools (which often reveals valuable insight about how these schools evaluate applicants).
