✅Pick a test date that is suitable for you:
The ideal time for Class 12 students to take the SATs is in May or June of that year. However, October and November test dates are also acceptable, particularly if you have chosen that the SATs are a crucial component of your admissions applications. The best time for Class 11 pupils to prepare for the SATs is in of October, November, and December. Planning ahead can give you plenty of time to study for AP or Subject Tests and may even help you focus on your Class 12 schoolwork.
❌Do not get worked up:
You might believe that the SAT is your last chance to get into the university of your dreams, but that does not mean you have to spend the entire day studying. The chances of getting worked up are less if you begin studying six or three months before the exam. Plan your study schedule and take it easy.
✅Take full practise tests:
It is crucial that you take complete mock exams while you study for the SAT. It is crucial that you take “timed” practise exams in order to be aware of how your body and mind function after three hours of nonstop sitting and thinking.
❌Do not compare yourself with others:

The SAT essay was declared optional in 2016. Candidates are now very conflicted on whether or not they should try it. Some people believe that adding this to the already high standards of SAT preparation is too much. However, if the college you’re applying to requires it, you should take the essay. Even when the essay portion is not required by your school, it is still worthwhile to complete because it might help your application marginally.
