The following is a list of activities you should do in your senior year of high school:
1. College tours
You won’t truly understand how you feel about a location unless you’ve visited it. Students can ask questions, meet other prospective students, and gain a better understanding of the campus through visits. A modest investment of time now may save you a lot of time, money, and aggravation later on when it comes to college applications. Many colleges may even offer virtual tours for international students, which also helps prospective students get a sense of the college’s energy, personality, and resources.
2. Prepare your letters of recommendation:
Around the time when college application deadlines approach, teachers and faculty members are sometimes bombarded with requests to submit recommendation letters. If you ask ahead of time, they will be able to devote some time and attention to your letter.
3. Schedule last minute ACT/SAT
To begin, you should register for the test as soon as possible. If your exam date is approaching quickly and you aren’t feeling confident yet, don’t panic. Take a standardized practice exam (timed). Many scholarship programs accept applications from seniors and juniors in high school.
